The decree of Pope Benedict XIV (Benedictus PP. XIV) notifies
the bishop of Benevent (Beneventano) of a granted permission for
the priest Joseph della Vipera (Josephus) and his brother Francis
(Franciscus) della Vipera (della Vipera) and the
latter's wife Catherine Bartoli (Catharina Bartoli) to
found a chapel in their own palace in the diocese of Benevent (dioec(esi) Beneventan(a))
and to hold the mass service abiding by the established eucharistic
worship order.
