Leaf #1 – the initial "R" (9 lines, 4 cm) is adorned with copious floral patterns (red paint), the outline of the initial is highlighted in red with blue ornamentation.
Other initials, painted in alternating blue with red ornamentation and red with blue ornamentation, mark the beginnings of chapters.

63 leaves (parchment) + 2 binding leaves (paper). 
1 leaf:  22.8 x 17.5 cm.
Text is written in two columns; the size of the columns: 62 x 17.5 cm and 59 x 17.5 cm.

The patent of nobility issued to Hanns Loutzenbrönner Junior by the elder, burgomaster and the council of the city of Arnstein and the characteristics of his father Johann Loutzenbrönner Senior.

The seal has not remained except for the parchment band to attach the seal (the slit for the band is 1.6 cm, parchment turn-up is 3.3 cm).

The decoration of the manuscript is copious:
– the initial “U” (14,5 cm), written in gold and outlined in red, has an inscribed portrait (metal engraving, coloured in red and yellow;  12 x 16 cm in size);
– 5 colourful coats-of-arms;
– golden stripes (0.5 cm) decorate both sides of the manuscript; golden stripes, outlined in red (0.5 cm), also mark the margin area ;
– enlarged letters of the text are painted in gold and red.

Illumination
Teratological initials are painted in red and blue: two large initials "ñ" and "ï" (4 lines, 4.5 cm; the second initial is effaced, part of it has been trimmed), the small initial "â" (2 lines, 0.8 cm). The colour of the small initial "â" (2 lines, 1.2 cm) on the reverse has faded and turned green.

A fragment of the leaf (~1/3 of the leaf): 28.4 x 17.4 cm.
The text is written in two columns of 11.7 cm in width.
