cm apart).

Vilnius. The extract contains a charter, signed on June 7,1590, by which

of Viešvėnai, sells a private brick
building, the so-called Adjutants' Palace (íà
ê7àìåíèöÖ… ïðîç7ûâà7åìó7þ âèðÚø7ûëîâÚñêÖ7þ),
located in the neighbourhood of a fish market in Vilnius to Vilnius
Evangelical Reformist community.

Illumination
The initials "Â"
(one of them takes up 3 lines, 6 cm, the other one – 2 lines, 3 cm) and
"ï" (16 lines, 13 cm)
are adorned with twining gold, green, red and blue ornamentation
whereas loops of the letters are decorated with green dotted or
flower-like patterns. The "ä"
and an enlarged letter "ñ"
are adorned with gilt trefoil flowers. The tails of letters in the
last line are also ornated in trefoils drawn in ink.

Rex), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, of April 15, 1596(?), in which the statute of Vilnius
butchers' guild is certified.
