Sigismund the Old (Sigismundus), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania,
confirms the agreement made between the bishop of Vilnius Jonas (Joannes),
a descendant of Lithuanian dukes, and the magistrate of Vilnius city, concerning the division of jurisdiction in Vilnius
(Vilna).

A fragment of the greater red wax attached seal of GDL (5 cm) in a
fragmented wax bowl (12 cm), affixed to the document with a string of
green and red thread (parchment fold-up is 9 cm, two slits for the
string are spaced 6 cm apart).

namely 21 plot of wasteland (enumerated) in the district
of Josvainiai, Žemaitija, 4 plots of wasteland (enumerated)
in Darsūniškis and a house previously donated by the King in Trakai
Street, Vilnius.

cm);

a marshal and landholder of Daugėliškiai Ivan Bogushevicz
Bogovitinovicza (7èâNà
áãóøåâè÷ áãîâèÙèíîâè÷à) (oval, 2.6 cm)
in a wax shell (oval, 5 cm);
·
the Grand Marshal Krysztof Jurjevicz Zavisha (êðûøÙîôÚ
7þðûâè÷ü çàâèøà) (oval, 3 cm) in a wax shell
(oval, 5.5 cm).
All seals are affixed to the document with a string of deep red
thread (parchment fold-up is 9 cm, 5 slits for the string are
spaced 4.3–5.2–5.5–5.6 cm apart). The seal of Jurij Chreptovicha has
not remained. The broken string is sewn with greyish thread.
