John Sobieski (Ian Trzeci), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, confirms the privilege of
Wladislaw Vasa (Władysław IV, Władysław Czwarty), King of
Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, of July 20, 1633 approved by the decision of the
public diet of the Polish Kingdom and GDL, which sat in Warsaw, May 26,
1640. The privilege grants the right to non-Catholic denominations (the Evangelical Reformists?) of the Vilnius city to practise their
religion, assemble and pray in their church opposite the Trakai Gates in
Vilnius.
