John Casimir (Ioannes Casimirus), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, transumes and confirms the privilege of Wladislaw Vasa (Vladislavs IV), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, of July 23, 1633, which establishes a  moulders-potters' guild in the Vilnius City (Vilna) and ratifies its statute.

The seal has not remained (parchment fold-up is 8.2 cm; 2 slits for the twist are spaced 15 cm apart; a fragment of pink ribbon has survived).

An extract from the books of the Lithuanian Metric contains the charter of  John Casimir (Ian Kazimierz), King of Poland and  Grand Duke of Lithuania, of March 9, 1665 which transumes, confirms and supplements the previous documents approving the statute of Vilnius butchers' guild such as: the privileges of Wladislaw Vasa (Władys ław IV, Vladislaus Rex, Vladislai Quarti), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, of March 30, 1635, of December 12, 1646 and of May 30, 1647, transuming and confirming the privilege of Sigismund Vasa (Zigmunt III, Sigismundus Rex), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, of April 15, 1569, by which Vilnius butchers' guild is established and its statue is certified; the decisions of the marshals of November 28 and December 7, 1643 and the decision of Vilnius magistrate of June 11, 1664.

John Casimir (Ioannes Casimirvs), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, appoints the GDL secretary and burgomaster of Vilnius (Vilna) Paulus Boim (Pavlvs Boim) prefect of Vilnius City after the death of Stephanus Carolus Bylinski (Stephanus Carolus Bylinſki).

The greater red wax attached seal of the GDL (Ø 9.5 cm) in a metal box (Ø 10 cm) is affixed to the document with a ribbon of yellow silk (parchment fold-up is 7.5 cm; 4 slits for the twist are spaced 14 cm apart).

John Casimir (Ioannes Casimirvs), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, transumes and confirms the decree of Wladislaw Vasa (Vladislavs IV), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, of July 18, 1633. The latter transumed and confirmed the charters of Sigismund Vasa (Sigismundus III), King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, of December 30, 1619 and October 30, 1619, which in their own order authorized the barbers-surgeons' guild to persecute and penalize non-members of the guild who provide the services illegally.
